Who we are

This website is run by the National Crime Agency’s CEOP Education team (NCA-CEOP).

We help protect children and young people from the threat of online child sexual abuse. This website is part of our CEOP Education programme and is aimed at professionals working with children and young people.

Use of this website is for lawful purposes only. This means you must use it in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, this site by anyone else.

This website is intended for users who are over 18.

Network Members. Some parts of this website are only available to users who have registered with us as a Network Member. Network Members must follow our Code of Conduct when using this website and our education resources. A breach of the Code of Conduct is a breach of these Terms of Use.

Other CEOP Education websites. This website is one of a series of websites which are part of our CEOP Education programme. Some of our other websites, which are linked to here, are intended for users who are under the age of 18.  Appropriate adult supervision should be given to children and young people using these websites dependant on their age and needs.

Changes to the site

The NCA may update this website at any time and can change or remove content without notice.

Services you can access through this website

You can use this website to access our services, including information, resources and training, about protecting children and young people from online child sexual abuse.

You can also use this website to access other services that assist children, young people, parents and carers, or professionals working with them, with reporting online child sexual abuse and other related help and support.

Viruses, hacking and other offences

We will report any attacks  to the relevant law enforcement authorities and share information about you with them. We may recover from you any loss or damage caused by such an attack.

Termination/suspension of use

We have the right to suspend or terminate access to the website (including a Network Member or Ambassador account) for any reason and without notice. This includes, but is not limited to, any breach or suspected breach of these Terms of Use or our Code of Conduct.  The Code of Conduct outlines the behaviour that all CEOP Education Network Members and CEOP Education Ambassadors are expected to follow

If the NCA terminates or suspends your use of this website for any reason other than inactivity (see below) you are prohibited from registering and creating a new Network Member account under any name until otherwise notified by the NCA.

The NCA also has the right to terminate your Network Member account after two years of inactivity or if you unsubscribe from our Network Member email communication. You will be able to register for an account again if you choose to do so.

Governing law

These terms of use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute you have which relates to these terms of use, or your use of this website (whether it be contractual or non-contractual), will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 


Supplemental terms and conditions or documents may be posted on the website from time to time and these are included in the Terms of Use. For example, each CEOP Education training has terms and conditions you are required to agree to. 

We might decide not to exercise or enforce any right available to it under these terms of use. We can always decide to exercise or enforce that right at a later date.

Doing this once won’t mean we will automatically waive the right on any other occasion.

If any of these terms of use are held to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, the remaining terms and conditions will still apply.
