At CEOP Education, we are committed to helping children and young people access education that can help protect them from online sexual abuse, regardless of individual needs or circumstances. As part of this commitment, we have developed a series of Inclusion Toolboxes to accompany our lesson resources.
Designed for children and young people with mild to moderate special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), or any learner who may benefit from differentiation, the toolboxes provide resources to help make learning more accessible and inclusive.
What's included?
Each toolbox includes guidance for education professionals and a range of practical resources to meet the needs of individual learners. They can be used by education professionals with any learners who may benefit from them. The toolboxes are not stand-alone resources but are intended to supplement CEOP Education resource lesson plans, guidance and slides.
Materials available in the Inclusion Toolboxes include:
- Visual timetables and now and next boards
- Easy read resources
- Social stories
- Key vocabulary sheets
- Support and help cards
- Guidance for parents and carers to support consolidating their child’s learning at home
The materials are designed to improve accessibility, support communication and understanding, promote learner confidence, and strengthen home-school learning.
